Mixed Media in Nature : Wonderful Wisteria

A day bursting with inspiration, creativity and connection!

Join Ely/Cambridge artist Laura Pearson-Clark (Art in the Burrow) in the stunning grounds of Stow Hall Gardens and immerse yourself in nature. This time we’ll be focusing on depicting the impressive display of the flowering wisteria that cascades around the textured brickwork.

We’ll begin by learning about surface preparation using professional artist’s materials. Laura will share some of her own mixed media experiments in sketchbooks to create specific effects to represent the wisteria and contrasting brickwork. Receive top tips in mapping out a harmonious composition and direct observational techniques, followed by a delicious light lunch freshly prepared by The Fork Handles Cafe and celebrate creativity with a glass of champagne!

The afternoon will be spent embracing a creative mind flow to continue with your final artwork you can be proud of. Caring, approachable and relaxed 1:1 guidance from Laura will be there with you along the way.
