Come and join Blackbird Healing & Sound in celebration of the longest day of the year, out in nature in the beautiful surroundings of the Old Rose Garden at Stow Hall Gardens. A time to slow down and immerse yourself in the acoustic sounds of the gongs, frequency tubes, chimes and drum.
Vibrations created during this Sound Bath can help bring your mind and body back into a balanced state. Sound Baths can help to lower anxiety, improve your mood and quality of sleep. We are all individuals and everyone’s experience is unique.
You will be guided into a relaxing meditative state as your brainwaves change from being active into a meditative state. The activity of the mind slows down and relaxes as you move into a calm, tranquil and dreamlike state.
What to bring – something to lay down on such as a yoga mat or sun lounger. It’s also perfectly fine to be sat on a chair if this is more comfortable. I recommend a blanket or quilt to cover you as you’ll be surprised at just how cold you may get from being relaxed. A pillow and an eye mask would also be useful. Please consider bringing a bottle of water for after the Sound Bath as you may feel thirsty.
The gardens will be open from 19.30, with the sound bath starting at 20.00.
Please note: Sound Baths are not suitable for anyone in the first trimester of pregnancy, those with severe mental health conditions or sound induced epilepsy. If it should rain the Sound Bath will still go ahead indoors at Church Farm, Stow Bardolph.
